Operations Manager
After leaving catering College in 1983 Alison’s career began as a Cook in a residential care home for the elderly. She then secured the role of Cook at the Northern General Hospital before progressing to The Dietetics section working alongside the Dieticians to specialise in catering for patients.
During this time she studied at Leeds University in Dietetic Catering which enabled her to specialise in meeting the needs of patients and customers with a range of dietary requirements.
Alison joined Compass contract caterers as an area manager responsible for 18 contracts from Leeds to Hull, varying in size and speciality.
Alison started her career with Riverside Catering in 1999. In her current post she manages the catering under the Private Finance Initiative contract. She is responsible for the efficient planning and running of the contracts ensuring the highest standards of customer and client satisfaction are achieved.
